Munshiganj Government Technical School and College

Munshiganj Government Technical School and College, under the Directorate of Technical Education, Department of Technical and Madrasa Education, Ministry of Education, Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, is located in the Dargabari area of Mirkadim Municipality, Munshiganj District, on the banks of Dhaleshnbari and Meghna Rivers, near Dhaka. This institution is a reliable institution in conducting JSC (Vocational), SSC (Vocational) and HSC (Vocational) courses after primary education level. The main aim of this institution is to create skilled human resources, socio-economic development and above all to make citizens self-reliant with technical education and skills.


In this era of globalization, various challenges are constantly coming, so this institution was established in the year 1982 on about 5 (five) acres of land to provide timely teaching and training for the development of students, as well as to develop smart citizens with technical and technical knowledge and enlightened people with manual skills. From 1996-97, SSC and HSC (Vocational) courses were launched with the aim of up gradation and expansion of technical education. Vocational Training Institute was changed to munshiganj Government Technical School and College in 2001 in order to increase the caliber of the institution and establish it as a college. Apart from SSC (Vocational) and HSC (Vocational) courses, basic courses in various occupations are running in the
